The Adventures of Skelly

Step into the bones of Skelly and embrace the chaos of being the villain in a world where the ‘good guys’ aren’t what they seem!

In The Adventures of Skelly, you play as a skeleton navigating through a spooky, purple-tinted world filled with deceptive foes like angel-winged bunnies and electric kittens. With each level, Skelly must battle these seemingly innocent but dangerous enemies to reach the mysterious portals that lead deeper into the eerie unknown. This platformer flips the classic hero-villain dynamic on its head, forcing players to rethink what it means to be the ‘bad guy.’ 

This is a simple GDevelop prototype which was used to test a collection of unique pixel art assets developed in 11836 Digital Media Art 2: Image Production delivered in the Faculty of Arts and Design at the University of Canberra. 

The game uses the following keyboard controls: 

• ⬅️ The left arrow for left movement 
• ➡️ The right arrow for right movement 
• ⬜ The spacebar for jump
